Making choices

You have already made some important decisions in your life by now, so this is just another one. Just as when you were in making choices in year 11, consider all your options, what you are good at, how you like to learn, your money situation, career ideas and so on.

Need career ideas?

Revisit Kudos. It's a great way to get ideas of jobs you may never even have thought about. Or try Careerscape to have a look at the kinds of jobs that link to particular subjects or types of work. For example, if you enjoy and are good at art, you can get ideas about art-related jobs. If you want to work outdoors, you can get information about outdoor work. You can also use it to get careers information about almost any job you can think of. You need to get a password from your school or Connexions Adviser or contact us.

Unsure what course to study at university?

Take a look at the Higher Ideas programme available in schools and Connexions Centres.

Not going to university?

Take a look at Exodus at one of our Connexions Centres. It has lots of information for people wanting to work, study and gap year abroad.
