Training with Connexions
Ansbury - delivering Connexions on behalf of the local authorities of Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole - has a well-established training and assessment team who are all experienced guidance practitioners. They deliver a range of workshops to ensure Connexions staff have the skills and knowledge they need to work effectivley with young people; including training leading to nationally recognised qualifications. They work closely with the 14-19 team to support the training of school staff involved in careers education and information.
NVQ
Our highly rated NVQ Centre provides the following qualifications which are open to staff from other organisations:
- NVQ 2 Advice and Guidance Support
- NVQ 3 Advice and Guidance
- NVQ 4 Advice and Guidance
- NVQ 4 LDSS
All our programmes include a series of workshops to develop skills and underpinning knowledge and include observations of practice at candidates' workplace
