It pays to learn!
If you're aged 16+ and just returned to learning, you may be able to get money whilst you study.
Education Maintenance Allowance is available to those in full-time learning at college or sixth form depending on family income (income below £30,810 for the tax year 2008/09).
And if you've got a part-time job you won't lose out nor will your parents if they are getting other benefits for you.
The full amount of £30 is now available to those on e2e programmes no matter how much money is coming in at home.
