A healthy lifestyle is important for your physical, emotional and mental well-being.
It’s not always easy or within our control to have good health, but there are steps most people can take to help. Here are a few points for starters.
- Exercise: Try and do some physical activity – it’s not just good for your body but your mind too. And you’ll probably look better too. You don’t have to go to a gym, just walking will make a difference.
- Eat wisely: Give some thought to what you eat – there’s plenty of information around about what’s good for your body and what you should have small amounts of. Don’t overdo it and don’t starve yourself.
- Drink: plenty of water and keep alcohol fizzy drinks to a minimum
- Avoid recreational drugs etc
- Relax: take some time for yourself, to do the things you enjoy and that make you feel good.
